How Taylor Made Removals collects, uses and protects your personal information when you contact us or book a move.
1. Who we are
Taylor Made Removals is the trading name of Taylor Made Removals Limited. We are the “data controller” for the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used.

2. The information we collect
When you enquire
Our quote form asks for your name, telephone number and email address, and lets you tell us the postcode you are moving from and to, a preferred date, the type of move and any details you choose to include about the job. Only name, phone, email and the details of your move are required. The rest is optional and simply helps us quote accurately.
If you call, text or email us instead, we collect whatever you choose to tell us, together with your phone number or email address.
When you book a move
To carry out the work we also need your collection and delivery addresses, access arrangements (parking, lifts, stairs, key collection, gate codes), an inventory or description of the goods to be moved or stored, and, where relevant, the details of your solicitor or estate agent so we can coordinate on completion day. We keep records of payments, but we do not store card details: payments are handled by bank transfer or by your own card provider.
None of this is required of you by law and you are free not to give it to us. Without it, though, we cannot prepare a quotation for you, and we cannot carry out a move, a storage booking or a clearance.
When you visit this website
Our web server keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser type) so the site can be delivered securely and so we can investigate faults or abuse. We also use a privacy-first analytics tool, hosted for us by our website provider, that records aggregate page views without cookies and without storing your IP address. What we do not collect
We do not deliberately collect “special category” data (such as health information), and we ask that you do not send it to us through the website. We do not knowingly collect information about children: our services are sold to adults.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only where we need to, and only with organisations that are bound to keep it confidential and to use it solely on our instructions:
- Our website host and email delivery providers: the enquiry form is delivered by email through Resend, and the site is hosted on Railway. They process the contents of your enquiry on our behalf so that it reaches our inbox.
- Sandbanks Digital, who build and maintain this website on our behalf and may see enquiry data in the course of supporting the contact form.
- Our accountants, insurers and, if ever necessary, our legal advisers.
- Sub-contracted crews or partner removers, on the rare occasions we use them for a long-distance or large job. They receive only what they need to complete the work.
- Licensed waste facilities, where clearance work requires a waste transfer note.
- Public authorities, where the law requires us to disclose information.
Two third parties may receive information directly from your browser when you use this site: the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which serves the map tiles on our contact page, and Meta, but only if you actively choose to load our Facebook feed on the home page. Both are explained in the Cookie Policy.
5. Sending information outside the UK
Some of our providers, including our email delivery and hosting providers, may store or process data on servers outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data protection law, normally the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or transfer to a country the UK Government has found to provide adequate protection. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards we rely on.
6. How long we keep it

When a retention period ends we delete the records or anonymise them so that you can no longer be identified.
7. Keeping it safe
This website is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and the enquiry form is transmitted over that same encrypted connection and rate-limited against abuse. Access to our email and customer records is restricted to the people who need it, on password-protected accounts. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but if a breach ever occurred that was likely to put your rights at risk, we would tell you and the ICO as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Be told how your information is used. That is what this notice is for.
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate information corrected.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer have a good reason to keep.
- Ask us to restrict how we use it while a concern is looked into.
- Object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests, and to object to direct marketing at any time. That objection is always absolute.
- Ask for portability of information you gave us, in a machine-readable form.
- Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis we rely on.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected] or call 07838 194054. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first so that we do not disclose your details to somebody else.
